Pinterest & Pin It Forward UK

I am a huge Pinterest fan and was very happy when they approached me recently to be part of their Pin It Forward UK campaign, their new project to let the whole of Britain know about the wonderful world that is Pinterest.

I feel like I've been pinning forever but actually Pinterest wasn't even around when I first started blogging four years ago.

I used to regularly fill up my laptop with reams of images, always meaning to organise them so that I could find the perfect image immediately and when I needed it....
of course that never happened, my collection grew every day....
and I could never find what I wanted when I wanted it.

Pinterest has been a fabulous discovery for me....
for bloggers everywhere I should imagine.

It provides me with a) an endless source of inspiration and b) is the perfect way to collate and organise images.
Every blog-post I write carries images so Pinterest is perfect for me.
I love being able to pin an image immediately and file it for future reference & it's also great to be able to link to the original source of the image ie, for a recipe or a house tour.

I love having all my images - kitchens for example - sitting next to each other so I can immediately get inspiration & browse through them.

I can't even choose a favourite board but I do love my "windows" board, my "wise words" board & my "NYC" board.
To follow any of my boards, just click here....
and, if you're not already on Pinterest, click here to register....

During the Pin It Forward UK campaign, 300 UK bloggers will be sharing their favourite Pinterest boards plus telling you why they love Pinterest.

It is my pleasure also to #pinitforward and introduce Polly Rowan and her beautiful & creative blog. Her Pinterest boards can be found here....

Day 19 : Four Of My Favourite Blogs

So, Day 19 of the Blog Every Day In May challenge is

"some of your favourite blogs & what you love about them"

I read lots of blogs although not as many as I used to....
I must confess to spending more time writing than reading.
The four blogs that I have chosen today stand out as favourites for lots of different reasons....
I hope you will love them too.
Enjoy....

Who : Natasha
Where : Sydney, Australia
Why?
I've been reading Natasha's blog for ages....
she is the best photographer I have seen on any blog. Ever.
She is so talented & her photos are completely gorgeous.

She is also a very good writer, a sweet person, she's Australian and she has - hands-down - the best & most romantic story ever of how she met her husband.
There's a gentle & thoughtful quality about her blog that really appeals to me.

You can view many of her photos here in her portfolio, please go visit her blog though, you'll love it.

Who : Natalie
Where : New York City
Why?
I only discovered her blog recently, but I fell in love with it instantly....
and not just because she is living my dream life of "happy family in NYC"!

Natalie documents her family's life in the city via the most fantastic photos & daily tales of her gorgeous little boy named Huck.
If you love New York City, you will adore her blog.

She has a great attitude to life & is the best kind of blog writer....
funny, interesting, honest, perceptive, open, warm & intelligent.

Who : Jenny Rosenstrach
Where : Westchester, NY
Why:
Another recent discovery, this food blog is amazing.
Very entertaining, funny, stimulating and full of great ideas & photos,
I'm sure you'll like it even if you hate cooking!
This was the very first post of theirs that I read and it just made me smile :)

The blog led to a book which Jenny talks about below....
I love what she has to say.

Who : Sophie
Where : An Australian girl living in London
Why?

I've been reading Sophie's blog for sometime now, I just love it.
Sophie is (much) younger than me, but there is so much that I admire about her....

Sophie & George met in Sydney & she followed him back home to London.
They have moved around a bit & now live in London.
Sophie has a huge & infectious enthusiasm for London, for travel, for food & for life in general.
She writes a daily blog, documenting her travels, places she visits, food she's eaten.
Her blog features fabulous photos.....if she doesn't make you want to travel, nothing will!

She has a very good head on her young shoulders, she loves her family, she's fun,
full of happiness & positivity....she's a breath of fresh air.
I really just love that she is the perfect example of the fact that life is for living....
and she is absolutely going to do it all.
